Bilateral Bolster

The Bilateral Bolster Swing is an effective piece of therapy equipment designed to support the development of bilateral integration—the ability to coordinate both sides of the body. It also promotes improvements in posture and balance.

This swing includes two ropes that allow clients to hold on with both hands. This can allow the user to more easily find their balance and feel more stable. The ropes have a protective vinyl covering to assist with infection control and cleaning while also making it more pleasant to hold.

The Bilateral Bolster Swing is not intended for use as play equipment. It is specifically designed for therapeutic purposes, including sensory integration activities. Adult supervision is required at all times during use to ensure safety and proper application.

Important Installation Notes:

The Bilateral Bolster Swing has a working load of 150kg.

This product is supplied with a safety snaps and a built in safety rotational device as standard.  For ease of adjustment, a height adjuster is recommended and is available to purchase separately:  Part Number 80861

The Bilateral Bolster Swing can be suspended from the A, C and O Frames or directly from the ceiling using ceiling bolts. The installation of forged ceiling eyebolts is your responsibility, and must be to the proper specifications. We always recommend that you have the ceiling tested by a structural engineer to ensure that your ceiling can carry the appropriate working loads.
